David is a second-generation Chinese-Peruvian American who grew up speaking Spanish, eating dim sum, and secretly doodling under the coffee table. He believes empathy builds strong teams and finds creativity most rewarding when it’s collaborative.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication from San Francisco State University while juggling roles as a multi-disciplinary creative, social media manager, and marketer at Ineffable Music. His career as an art director at Ready State led to impactful, purpose-driven projects recognized by the Anthem Awards in 2023 and 2024.

Before that, his past included coaching rock climbers and working with Golden Age hip-hop groups and international reggae artists. These days, when he’s not refilling a coffee cup, he’s likely hiking, discovering new restaurants, or camping out in Colorado.

In 2023, David launched Steady Studio LLC to connect with his community and help small businesses thrive by sharing his 12+ years of experience in creative production and social media marketing.
